Your hair reminds me of mines glory days😄. Back when I did weekly deep conditioning. DETANGLED!!! Oiled every night. I kind of fell off the horse out of pure laziness. I literally have four sectioned braids under my headerap right now. Nothing but major tangles in there. I deep conditioned with hair mayonnaise, an Avo mask by Avon and Africa's Best olive oil leave in thing over the weekend. I'll be relaxing with the super strength stuff this Friday. I pray I get a straight sleek finish like yours. Too, too gorgeous!!🌹

I'm currently doing my pony and I'm in the process of perming my hair but my question is can you wash your hair before you perm it?? I have alot of gel residue from slicking it down so much with gel

Never wash your hair before a perm. It’ll irritate the scalp and cause some burning. It’s best to perm with dirty hair. Some hours before perming, lightly spray some water on your hair to help break down the stiffness of your hair caused by the gel. I say “some hours before” because you want to allow your scalp to relax before you start the perming process. I hope this helps.

Everything’s from the Beauty Supply Store. I never have white residue in my hair. Try applying some hair oil on your hair after you’re done styling it.
