For Project Sleep's Sleep In 2023 featured event, we heard from Diane Macedo, Emmy Award-winning news anchor and correspondent and best-selling author of The Sleep Fix. After struggling with insomnia for years, Macedo decided to attack the problem as a journalist, poring through research and interviewing sleep experts from all over the world to get to the bottom of what really keeps us from sleeping-and the various ways to fix it. Now recovered from insomnia, Macedo shares what she learned in her bestselling book The Sleep Fix offering readers expert wisdom, cutting edge research, and practical ways to incorporate evidence-based sleep solutions into our busy, everyday lives.
"I think of myself as a megaphone for the combination of researchers, clinicians, and patients that all came together to help me put [The Sleep Fix] together." -Diane Macedo
Diane was interviewed by Project Sleep's President & CEO, Julie Flygare via FB Live on Friday, March 17th at 1:30pm ET.
