ER is and still the best Medical Drama TV Series in TV History . It set a benchmark no show can be compared with in today standards.

The connection between Frank and Pratt is what makes the shoulder touch so painful. When Frank almost died of a heart attack in season 10, he begged Pratt to stay in the angio room with him, then told him about his black soldier friends in Vietnam, all of whom died. “You know what you are, buddy?” Frank said to Pratt. “You are what those boys could’ve been.” F**k

Episodes like this is what set ER apart from others shows. There have been good series from EMERGENCY TO GREY'S ANATOMY but none of them can come close. There was intense drama with patients and among the doctors. The acting could not be better and at the end we're glued to the tv expecting more

"ER" was, is and always will be my most favourite T. V. series! I watched every episode, of it, from the very first show, to the Finalé! I don't think they'll ever be a show, that's more powerful than "ER" was! Both the deaths of Dr. Mark Greene and Dr. Greg Pratt had me in tears! Was so sad, when the series ended. :(

Amazing how he went from a flirtatious won't work with anybody won't listen to anybody kind of bastard. To wanting to Marrying a girl for the first time, become an attendant, make sure the students get taught right and was suppose to become Chief of The ER. Considering he never wanted to be at County in the first place. What a great story arc.

Imo, this was THE saddest death on ER. Pratt knowing he won't survive. The ER Team silently escorting "their Chief" like an ancient hero. Pratt's character arc from the start (to how each character later felt about him), made his death unforgettable.

@@PlumbPitiful Gant's death was bad, too, along with Anspaugh's son and even Romano (his death was outlandish, though and the moment I felt like ER had jumped the shark).

@@DarlingNikki2 I agree, and not because of being a Prince fan. But Gant after taking a meal break was trying to have Anspaugh discipline Benton. I wasn't sympathetic of Gant since all our doctors had received harsh words, and patients come first. Lucy's death was tragic, but I have a soft spot for positive redemption characters - like Platt.
@token13714 жыл бұрын
@@PlumbPitiful I can't disagree, but Benton trying to save his nephew Jesse was more tragic to ME than Greene. I thought Hawaii was stretched out too long, and took away from scenes with ER friends saying goodbye before his death. Imo, I would have preferred the ER staff giving Greene a great 'wake party' before he became bedridden.

Frank may have been the "crabby guy" of the staff, but it gave his moments like this a ton of impact - the other two scenes I'm thinking of are his reaction to Mark's death and appearance at his funeral, and his reaction to Rachel Greene showing up in the final episode.
