The most rational explanation I can think of for story 1 is that the guy's grandfather blacked out and killed the guy after going into fight or flight. He might have also gone into a rage after the assault occurred. He has no memory due to PTSD.

(Only after watching the #1 Let's Read 🏆 of course) I've seriously listened to every one of Let's Read's videos now. Also up at the top are Dark Somnium and Mr Creepypasta. Some others I enjoy are: Lighthouse Horror Creepy Fox, Back to Ashes, mr revenant, Romnex, urmaker, Back to Ashes, Southern Cannible... plus Text to Speech one's I particularly enjoy like Dark Night Tales, Horror Den of Misfits, Nightmare Fuel, Aliens-Rebooted. The feeling the guy is describing in the story near the end of the video about feeling calm/focused when you realize you're in a dangerous situation is adrenaline. Your body floods with adrenaline and you get near superhuman strength and pin point focus. It's the reason Mom's have lifted cars off their toddlers and the reason firefighters can stay alert while running into burning buildings.

In regards to the second story... It is true. There is a beautiful memorial and graveyard for those who died, including the children. It killed almost an entire generation. You would always hear the children laughing and playing in the streets and gardens. Aberfan (pronounced Abervan as there is no "f" in The Welsh alphabet,) was pretty silent. Today, there are still a few survivors left. The village will always be remembered for what happened. Netflix The Crown even covered it and to Our Late Queen's dying day, her not being there was her biggest regret throughout her reign and she really did try her best afterwards for Aberfan. To this day, especially on Memorial Days and Royal visits, Senior members of Thr Royal family still go and pay their respects. It really is heart breaking because it could have been prevented. The villagers really did try and get it removed. The ground underneath the coal waste was drenched from the rain water and this caused the avalanche. Everyone worked for days with no sleep to help get the children out along with the staff. You can still find some testaments from the survivors online but some cannot talk about it. They were children at the time. Trauma is horrendous for an adult. I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma as a Junior School child leaving with your life whilst you have seen your dead class mates and school friends...Unbearable. I doubt that they could cope after hearing "All Things Bright and Beautiful" which they were singing as part of their rehearsal for a school concert...As the disaster struck. I cannot call it an accident because it could have been prevented. The coal waste was way too far above the legal limit. I could call it murder but indirectly. I paused the video to write this comment. I am 14:10 minutes in so now I will continue to listen to the rest of this video. Wales is a small province in The UK. As a Non-Welsh who has lived in Wales for nearly 15 years, thank you for covering this story. Thank you to those who have also commented on the Aberfan story 💕💕
