Honestly guys, going back to the beginning of their discography and just going through it all, would be well worth it. I’ve been a fan of The Dear Hunter since I was a kid and listening to all of Sleep Token was the first time I felt the way I did when I listened to the acts. Not to mention Sleep Token’s music is also part of an overarching concept.

@@secondhandreactions yes order does matter I would start with their EP One, then their EP Two, then move on to their three albums in order. The story definitely isn’t as theatrical as The Acts, but you definitely see a progression, and there is a lot of lore around it

You listened to two songs from the most recent album called “Take Me Back to Eden”. It is literally the best album of the year, in my opinion. Their earlier stuff is good but different in its own. If you go down this rabbit hole, keep an open mind. The songs lyrics, genre changes, and vocals all lend to the emotion and feelings Vessel (singer) is going through. It’s a journey so strap in!

There' s not a single bad Sleep Token song. As many in the comments have suggested, starting with Sundowning or the pre Sundowning singles and listening forward is a fun journey with suprises musically. There are a few songs with actual videos too that you might enjoy watching (Jaws, The Love You Want, Alkaline). It's also really cool that they've attempted to and for the most part succeeded in staying anonymous for over 7 years. I love the idea of someone genuinely doing something for the art and not the acclaim.

Oh she gets it, and you get it. Start at the beginnings, the lore is fantastic, he gave one interview in 2017, there's live messages. Then the albums art have meaning through all of them. With the EP's the names dont seem to match the music untill you look up the meanings behind the words. There's a story through all of it.Worship!

Love this! I didn't think your mate was really into it and was focusing on the visualiser instead - they don't do many videos so he was going to be disappointed! Can I suggest listening to the 3 albums in order (if you really want to go all out with ST)? The call backs are insane and so gratifying. It will give you a better understanding of the roller coaster you are about to embark on! There are no skips on any of the albums but I wouldn't expect you to react to every song. I'm sure you will get a lot of advice on which songs are the most impactful. My strongest wish is that you go back and start with Sundowning, then TPWBYT and leave Take Me Back To Eden until later and PLEASE leave the last song (Euclid) until the very end. You'll know why when you get to it. Everyone will have an opinion and this is mine. Please accept my grain of salt🥰

Oh man this is tough. I kinda want to listen to Take me back k to Eden first now (because we’ve already reacted to 2 songs from it) and then go bs k and do everything else in order.
