I'd bet all my life saving that you have at least three guns. 😂 Jokes aside... You know how the vast majority of songs have the purpose to induce specific emotions? Make you pumped, make you sad, make you joyous. My reason why this is the best track of the album is because it takes you on a whole rollercoaster. At first, it's sadness and grief. Then, it's blissful anguish, the blissful ignorance of enjoying something that's hurting you. Then it's anger (You're gonna watch me ascend), rage about self-helplessness to not give into the blissful ignorance. Then it's acceptance and determination to change (I'll take what I want, then leave). And after that, an explosion of anger and confusion, facing the fact that it's not over yet and it's hard to ascend and overcome (You make me wish I could disappear). The best part is, the melodies are joyous during the ending, even ascending but the words are the polar opposite. After all that, the listener enjoyed whole years of emotions in 7 damn minutes. TL;DR - This song crushes emotionally if.
