I agree with that statement. However, deep diving into previous songs are absolutely NOT a waste of time. There are some great songs on every album, but "TMBTE" is a complete work of art. "Like That" & "Descending" along with "Thread the Needle" off their first EP just hit my ST rotation. I love the way he writes, constructs & produces his music. I say Vessell bc he plays everything on ST albums but the drums which is ironic as the drummer attracted me to their music at the beginning. Another dimension another consciousness. I would say there's Rush....then there's Tool....& now there is Sleep Token. The Ultimate progressive rock band.

This song cool. According to wiki, Vessel does the vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, synthesisers & production. II is on drums. But it also says: "All tracks are written by Vessel and II, except "DYWTYLM" by Vessel only." Genres include: funk, black metal, electronic, pop, R&B, progressive metal, djent, metalcore, and blues. Personally I do not like the R&B/Pop stuff on this album and when I hear it I want to skip it. Everything else is awesome. "DYWTYLM" for example is terrible imo. Skip. This album has some good stuff on it, some really good stuff, but as an album I prefer the prior two offering more. To me they sound more coherent and they're just more my preference genre/stylistically. BTW, when you turned down the volume it turned it down for all of us. You need a mixer young lady, a separate headphone amp, or some other solution.
