So like.. I use reaper as well and I can’t get a good tone with my amp sim what so ever, but I’m also new to heavy metal guitar. I’ve learned this song but it sounds so trash with my current amp sim. What did you use to get this tone? Help a brother. I’m drowning 😂

I used my Kemper with Driftwood Purple Nightmare Profiles and some EQ. Check out one of Buster Odeholms Mixing Tutorials to find the right frequencies, that's what helped me a lot. When it comes to Plugins I'd suggest you give the Neural DSP Gojira Plugin a shot

Just curious, what are the Kemper amp models for clean/dirty as a starting point? I have AxeFx

I used an Omega Amps Obsidian Profile for the clean sounds. For the heavy stuff I used two different Driftwood Purple Nightmare Profiles and a Laboga MrHector Profile with some EQ
