So I've been a ST fan for a couple years now, and after MUCH digging it seems like Vessel is the principal songwriter of this band. I know they have touring guitarists, but from what I can tell Vessel and the drummer do all the writing. I'm not gonna say what Vessel's real name is, but he's got older (pre ST) stuff online, and he seems to be a very accomplished guitarist/songwriter/keys player. I'm just wondering how much of these newer songs are still written/played by him, or if the touring musicians are actually contributing to the creation of this stuff now as well. Great stuff, Sleep Token! Keep it up.

this was the first song of Sleep Token's that I heard all the way thru, and I wasnt sure I was a fan but the change-up at the end caught me so off guard in SUCH A GOOD WAY. now listening again I definitely find myself liking this song a lot more. like I see this song growing to be one of my all-time-faves. also the build-up to the funk/folk ending was so much more intense on the relisten (I say folk end bc it low-key reminded me of Hozier a bit)

The whole record is something else, best of 2023 in my opinion, Granite has some great moments, Vore is my favorite song of the album, Aqua Regia is so jazzy, Rain is also great, DYWTYLM is simply amazing and catchy, Are You Really Okay? hits so hard man...
