I’m so confused by Sleep Token. I’ve literally only heard them twice-both times on your channel-and I just don’t understand why there is so much hype. It’s not like I hate the music, it’s just that it doesn’t stand out to me. And to be honest, the heavy part at the end for what, 15-20 seconds, seemed so much different than the rest of the song that it just felt inserted for the sake of being heavy. Just my opinion since I know apparently a lot of people like them. Plus the video and the previous one is very boring, I feel like I am watching a character model screen on Diablo 4.

Every person has a taste you don’t have to like them they are so good maybe you’re not into these type of stuff cause they are more into pop not heavy metal and you have to listen to the trilogy to know what they’re talking about

It’s incredibly emotional and versatile music with fantastic production, amazing vox/lyrics and phenomenal musicianship. I personally enjoy music that keeps me guessing and Sleep Token does not disappoint there, you never know what is coming around the corner next in a song and I love that, even if some people may think it doesn’t fit the “theme” of a song. I don’t personally think music needs to follow rules like that. Your opinion is totally fair though, I actually had to come back to them a few times before it really clicked for me and they’re definitely not for everyone.

besides them just being good i think they cover a lot of genres which makes them accessible to more people. its like showing a song to a crowd of 100 vs 1000. just to add the tiktok thing that happened with the summoning. i just feel sorry for the hate they get bc of their 'metal' or 'metalcore' classification. obviously if you're pretentious (which the metal community has a reputation for) you're not gonna like them bc of their pop/softer side. that's just what i think.
