I saw them in Glasgow Monday night, my first Sleep Token gig. By far the best live show I've seen by any band. By the end of Euclid I was speechless. The light show and sound were unreal. And people say they shouldn't be headlining download. Yeah. Yeah they fucking should. After a performance like that how can anyone think they aren't good enough? How was the Manchester show?

WHO is saying they shouldn't headline Download?? Clearly the old guard of metal or people who've not taken the time to listen. They are idolized by some of the BEST artists in the genre and there's a reason for it....They don't even need to belong in the "metal" category, they are just beautiful, gut-wrenching, relatable and refreshing music that makes you want to bang your head and cry at the same time. What more could you possibly want.

@Swing_Twice I've heard that other fans in the metal community have been giving the download founder criticism and stick for booking Sleep Token as a headline act. I completely agree with you. They don't belong to any category and don't need to, their live performance quality is enough. Their "category" is Sleep Token.
