I feel like he is on the spectrum with add and adhd people. My garage is a mess and looks like a landfill to my family. But I guarantee I cal tell you that the screw for the lawnmower in the back yard that holds on the plastic cover is under the left rear tire of my jaguar and has been there for 6 months now. Or how I have sandpaper that fell behind the work bench a year ago that’s 1000 grit. Or he’ll even where I dropped a 10 mm socket by my back fence and it’s still sitting there after 2 years. We never forget anything. Especially if it’s something we handled last. I cannot tell you where anything is tho after my mom comes by and “cleans” up the house while she visits. Lmao I have lost more stuff to her moving something 6 inches than to my kids that touch everything. Atleast my kids have only 4 hiding spots and I can guarantee you will find anything you lost in those places. Yea it makes no sense to others that are normal. But that’s the beauty of having adhd. Everything looks like a tornado came through but we know where it all is at. (Not saying everything in the house is a mess. Just the zones that I personally claim as only mine.) everything else is clean and looks like a hotel room. 😂

When going through my machinist class. The math behind it is that when cutting circular stock on a lathe it is actually double the depth of your cut. So cut half of what you want until you get comfortable enough to take the big cuts

Yes because you are decreasing the radius by the amount you move. So it takes that much off of each point all the way around the circumference.

Make an electric crosskart "trike" with a battery pack in the back (over track), but have it on a swing arm, so that it works like a servo, making it so you don't have to tilt/ lean while turning, and able to control it while doing a wheelie! This proof of concept can start a new wave of snow machines, since electric snowmobiles as is sucks hard and is anything but premium.

@@Todd_G_FPV Not OP but probably to counterlean during a turn. With long suspension vehicles (without an anti-rollbar) during turns, they have a tendency to lean outwards. this would solve that without using an anti-rollbar (which you want for some reason????).
@goontheracoon
@goontheracoon 8 ай бұрын
@@Todd_G_FPV Let me clear things up.. it's a snowmobile, but picture a crosskart trike, the battery can lean from side to side as to shifts the center of mass, it also offset driver weight up front 2, using the battery weight as a feature, and not a flaw like EVERY electric machine ever. it would be MUCH safer during avalanches, and you'd be able to climb RLY well in it. for those who play in snow, this will save lives.

I see that gives you 6,000-W and an amp rating of 30 amps. If you use the lathe, air compressor, or welder, all separately and not at once, then you should be fine. But you'd benefit from the double setup they have, giving you 12,000-W, or the battery expansions like you said. We thought we were ok here, and didn't need a backup generator. Then the power went out for 31 hours a few weeks ago. The next day we ordered a 22-KW Generac Guardian generator with the automatic transfer panel. It runs off of natural gas or propane. The entire generator with the transfer panel, shipped to the door was about $6500. And then another $700 in parts for the conduit and wire. We wired it ourselves, and it's big enough to run our entire place (including 2 HVAC systems and a boiler) and were able to hook up our neighbor's house also, since they don't have AC, there's not much of an amp draw there. In any power outage though, we just don't run the electric dryer, and likely could go a couple days just hanging laundry.

I used two 12 inch speed squares (carpenter tool) to attach two ski tips about a foot long to my downhill mt bike to ride the snow. The hypotenuse faces forward and the tail end of ski is exactly where the wheel is designed to hit the ground. If the back of the ski extends back beyond the line drawn through your head tube to the ground it ruins what the geometry of the vehicle was designed for. I lucked into this knowledge, but it's for real. On my Wheelski (Patent search confirms my design is fit for utility patent in 1998 for unique pivot. Acts like knees of the skier) I could shred the slopes You guys need to hear my testimony. LOL Seriously though, I was riding ski slopes on my DH bike at Woodbury Connecticut on weekdays and Plattekill in Roxbury New York on the weekends. I could ride with no hands it was so stable and I could make turns so sharp I could touch the bars to the snow, but Plattekill is super steep at like 40 degrees so maybe that accounts for the crazy turning anyway, love your projects and love watching fun

In 12 years it starts 1 time a week for 15 minutes. There was here in Missouri we had a bad ice storm out of electric for 7 days straight. An a lot more other times we was out , it only used 450 gallons propane in that 12 years. Kicks on with in 15 seconds automatic. One of those battery generators be awesome for my Rv. The price is not bad at all. Mine was $12,500. It get hot in Missouri run 2 ac units an every light. Its paid for its self. I live out in the country.

here's the record for the fastest tracked vehicle: The world record for the fastest tracked vehicle is held by a modified M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). In July or August of 1979, this tracked vehicle achieved a remarkable speed of 121.9 kilometers per hour (75.7 miles per hour). Imagine a heavily armored APC zipping along at that pace-it’s quite impressive!The world record for the fastest tracked vehicle is held by a modified M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). Be careful! I think you should first plug the orange plug and then the blue connector to the wall. The blue has insulated connectors. If the wall is live (happen to have forgot one fuse on), the orange plug could have dedly live prongs exposed. Cool things you are making

You should put two tracks on either rear tire and put a outer guide to keep both tracks on actually inner guide and outer guide welded on the outside of either side. And put wheels on the front they will still turn in the snow similar to skis. And I've seen at the drag strips where they put solid rubber on the tracks instead of grooved

Here's a fun idea. Rework an old skid steer to be electric and stupid fast. You could make it a differential breaking system or a independent drive for each track. I think it would be a fun project and it might be the only way to handle all the power those electric motors put out.

that MTS is nice, very simple design with the breakers having a multi position to allow them to be on back up or main power.

Premium tip: a pitchfork and a metal tined rake work great when you need to find something non-inflatable, that's buried in the snow, when you are too excited to wait for spring.

What if you put some kind of shocked like coilover shock on the aluminum plating underneath on the very back of the cart that would give you a little cushion plus it would help pack any snow and give it a ramp😮

I just had a thought. One go-cart, 4wd, suspension and tracks. As long as it's not too fast it could make a little racing tracked vehicle. 😁

With the circuits you basically mean that you have it wired to the lines leaving the fuse box to each zone. Just to clear it up for those that don’t understand. It’s so he has direct power that is then connected to each zone powered by a generator. It’s super simple. Yes anyone could connect it themselves but please make sure all power is cut so you are not playing with live wires. Only after it’s installed and inspected would I suggest testing and turning it on.

Not as long as even a single generator…. The battery backup is stupid for their application. A shop, in the middle of nowhere, doesn’t need this. A simple generator or even 6 will do the trick, for less money.
