I just got home from seeing this ballet live. It was my first ballet, and it was a beautiful one! I thank you for explaining it all in words in a play-by-play format. One reason I came searching for an explanation was because I didn't quite understand why the bluebirds got so much stage time. ☺️ I found it funny that they stayed out on stage after their first dance bowing and curtsying for an extra long time...and then they came back out and took turns doing 3 more dances. 😅 I thought maybe it was for comedy, but my friend said I was reading too much into it. Which one of us is right? 🙈☺️

My favorite ballet! Thans for doing this explaining video, I wonder which performance you used here (apart from the snippets in the opening)
