I always compulsively need to point this out, so bear with me here: Maleficent is pissed she wasn't invited to the party, because literally Everyone else was including her rivals the good fairies. In the time period this movie is set in, not being invited to a royal baby shower was a serious snub and basically asking for war, since it was considered to be like a national holiday. The King and Queen didn't invite Maleficent on purpose, and took sides in the conflict between the fairies. If they had just invited her, she probably either wouldn't have shown up at all or at least given a really kickass gift to the baby to compete with the other fairies, and none of the bad stuff would have happened, so yeah the King and Queen are idiots.

Hooray, Sleeping Beauty! This is one of my favorite princess movies. It is SO PRETTY and the music is great and Maleficent is great and just uggggggh I love this one. To be fair, the movie is only 75 minutes, with a song at the beginning, a whole two opening scenes featuring Aurora as a baby, and then the second act having her asleep, there isn't a lot of room for talking. But I agree that all three of these characters deserve to talk more!
