I don't understand this. Same with For Today. I mean, I can understand, when the band needs more time for family (like For Today explained), but the work these bands do is so insane important that I can't faith they end the band. Why not just make a break? Or take it slow? Beside Fit for a King and For Today - Sleeping Giant was the only band which uses clear words of praise God. Maybe I just listen to the wrong tracks, but ABR or Demon Hunter, for example, are far more implicit.

SoundTek / Cry Posthuman I think it has less to do with being tired or needing a break and more of just wanting closure. Wanting to have an end result. I know that Tommy and Eric still do a lot of ministry work. They're not stopping their mission. It's just the chapter of their lives that is Sleeping Giant is finally at a point where it's time to close it.

Thanks for your answer! Yes, that could be the thing and I see, why you are probably right. The thing is, I am a christian since I can think - with all the highs and lows and I am listening metal also since a long time. However, bringing that together is happen not that long ago and it is mostly happen with Sleeping Giant. Maybe that's why it's so hard to accept that!?

Oh man, this is it then, huh? Sleeping Giant's final bow. There's something somber about it, like saying goodbye to an old friend. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. What an incredible group of musicians with a message that has produced such a strong feeling of longing and desire for Christ's love. Even now with this single, I can see that the SG feel is still there. I don't care if it's as heavy as Finished People. I don't care if they even hit all of the points a hardcore/metal band is supposed to hit. They sound like themselves and that's all I can ask for. Super excited to be able to experience the full album!
