Matt comments: "“Mosaic” is one of my personal favorite Theocracy tracks of all time. At its heart it’s a throwback to the peak of power metal, a galloping and soaring singalong hymn. But it has everything I love about what we do: the melody, the power, the drama, the light and shade, the riffs. Conceptually, the song is about how we can only see the individual scenes of our lives, but lack the perspective to see the overall tapestry those scenes eventually combine to create. The good times, the bad times, the things we wish didn’t happen…they are all pieces that God uses to form whatever we eventually end up becoming. And we can certainly relate to that in our own journey as a band over the last few years. So there’s a little psychology, a lot of spirituality, a little nostalgia, and a healthy dose of wistfulness and wonder. And fittingly, this song takes you on a quite journey in just over five minutes."

Such a breath of fresh air for the band! You can tell they let him influence the songwriting process. There are awesome riffs, licks, and solos all over this album. You can tell based off his work in Paladin they incorporated him in the songwriting process. Great decision. He’d also nail backup vocals! This is what Christian metal needed!

Been finding myself slowly but surely, listening to more Christian music in this specific genre. I'm an atheist though, however can't explain what exactly draws me to this. I grew up on classic Rock, slowly drifted to metal, started at a very heavy place then slowly moved on to softer music. Then I began reading, and I haven't touched a book since High school. Started with Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, now Masashi's Dokkodo, now moving to his Book Of The Five Rings, ultimately his last messages before passing away. This is all adding up to me questioning why am I here exactly, and what my purpose is. To this day I still don't have an answer.

Being a huge fan of prog and power metal, I instantly loved Theocracy. They are a rare band in the Christian metal genre. I have yet to hear another Christian band in the prog/power metal genre that even comes close to comparing to Theocracy. Matt has an amazing voice. His sense of melody and his talent at writing lyrics is phenomenal. Liking the first four albums so much, I was a little concerned that a new member might disturb the chemistry of the band. I was concerned for nothing. Taylor is a great guitarist. His solos (and use of harmonies) fit perfect in the music. Now when are we getting a US tour?!!
