i passed my class 2 and 1 in an iveco eurocargo with a slapstick, absolutely love it. you drive it for 2 hours and you already get used to it

@Urmom imagine the simplest gearbox in your car, when the gearbox is in neutral it sits between 3rd and 4th gear which is naturally bang on in the middle. on this slapstick you have 2 neutral positions. so you go 1,2,3,4, when going for the 5th you will feel a bit of a resistance, so you "slap" it towards you while it's in neutral, when you let it go it will sit between 5th and 6th gear and no longer 3rd a 4th. at that point you simply push it forward for the 5th and down for the 6th, and so on for the 7th and 8th gear. it's honestly much much easier to understand with visual aids
