one thing that is usually underestimated with VoicePlay... Layne is a beast when it comes to vocal percussion, but, when you look at the big three (VP, HF, PTX), Layne has the LOWEST natural vocal range of the vocal percussionists, so it is quite easy to think you're hearing Geoff, when you're hearing Layne do something.

Omar Cardona appeared with Voiceplay in Superstition, Dream On, Carry On Wayward Son, and several others as well as many shorts videos. Eli is short for Eliezer. That's why it's pronounced that way 😊

Every time I listen to this production I hear additional nuances. Everyone should try and isolate one singer and follow their line through the entire video; it brings out little vocal gems. The outro showed some of the BTS footage which is very interesting and we can see the mega screen backdrop, too.

It's a great driving song and is stuck in my brain. Omar was seriously on. If you haven't heard VP's The Lion Sleeps Tonight and you will hear Cesar hitting notes higher than his top notes in Dream On. VioLayne was doing violin and Cesar just soared up to C6 and D6 in whistle territory. Back when they did the Halo theme, Elizabeth of The Charismatic Voice brought in Marty O'Donnell the composer of Halo game. He was astounded with what VoicePlay did. If you watch it - watch all of it and you will learn a lot about the beginnings of VoicePlay (then 4:2:Five), the people they care about. The original beatboxer before he took off for an acting career, Scott Porter.

It is an earworm, but it is so good I don't mind. My sound is turned to full volume, and I can barely hear what you are saying, but the music comes through, also not very loud..

I love this cover. I have tried to play Warframe, but Skyrim is more my speed. Layne is a beatboxing beast in this cover. YAY!!! It's a space shanty!! Lol. This cover is absolute fire. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Geoff chose this one.

It has very hard to hear you and I am on my computer. Amazon has lanyard microphones for approx $10 which might fix the issue. I enjoy your commentary but would love to be able to hear it better. The Oh Oh Oh Oh part that Layne does might have been altered on Melodyne but I do know that Layne is a master of doing character voices and this really reminds me of the troll voices he did for the merch outro at the end of the Hall of the Mountain King video so it is possible this is just a character voice he used while singing. A higher tier patron might have more insight into it.

I can't hear you. VP video audio is fine but yours is way too low (atleast for me, yt is maxed out and speakers almost full and still barely audible)
