Pigs' sense of smell are about 3 times as strong as ours, their taste buds are alot stronger than ours too. That makes pigs' enjoyment of food very intense, that's what explains pigs always attacking food in the way that we would if we hadn't eaten in 3 days. I'm sure you've seen how ferociously pigs scarf away their dinners

@@xstingrayx I don't like the short snouted pigs as much either, those teacup pigs and some types of potbelly pigs are those short-snouted ones. But I didn't think the pig in this video was one of those, he's got a pretty prominent snout sniffing out that cookie. But I know what you mean, those commercial breed farm pigs with longer snouts, Esther the wonder pig is one of those too. Look up her videos if you haven't seen them, they're great. I have the most empathy and sympathy for those types of pigs because A) those are the types of pigs being abused and going to slaughter by the many thousands, and B) those pigs also seem to be just as if not even more friendly, happy, playful, and affectionate than any other types of pigs. The farm breed pigs are these big friendly, simple, lovable beings naturally by nature. To see more of those pigs, besides the Esther the wonder pig videos, there's also Julia, an incredible pig, any videos taken place on a sanctuary that has pigs, and also any of the Joey Carbstrong videos where he visits with pigs (Joey wishes to save as many animals as possible)

I love watching animals enjoy a treat. They’re just chomping down on the treat and are so caught up in the moment and the enjoyment of eating a snack, they don’t even think about anything else. Head empty, mind blank, snack delicious. 😂 Then you can see that the cogs are starting to turn again when they’re done eating and are looking for more. Animals are truly precious.
