What a beautiful rendition! This is a male cover of a female vocalist. Dan is a huge fan of Nightwish, which is why all his Nightwish covers stay very true to the originals. He would seamlessly fit into the band, one of the most standout metal acts in Europe.

From what I understand, the Brazilian government has recently banned X (Twitter) & has now imposed nearly $9,000 fines for those who attempt to use a VPN to access X. Dan's probably in warrior mode doing what he can to combat what's happening. Prayers for Dan and for Brazil 🇧🇷 🙏

This was about the 5th song I'd ever heard Dan sing & I fell in love with this cover the first time I heard it. I had never heard the original nor knew anything about Nightwish. Dan's version is better imo. When I played this for my sister, she noticed some similarities towards the end that reminded her of Geoff Tate's voice (Queensryche). I agreed with her. I'd love to hear Dan sing something by Queensryche (Jet City Woman or maybe Take Hold of the Flame). Btw, Hugo, if you've never heard anything by original Queensryche, I'd recommend you check them out. Silent Lucidity is more of a beautiful ballad, but received an award.
