I know this is a weird place to ask questions and advice about my life, but this song got me thinking of this girl that i think i've fallen in love with. She makes me laugh, she makes me smile, she gives me the comfort and acceptance when i am unable to do those things. I've never felt more myself than when i am talking with her. I would like to send her this song, or even make a cover of it, to show her how i am feeling and how much she means to me. She's been through so much and i am so unbelievably proud of her. I want her to know she is loved, that she is adored, that she is seen. But at the end of the day, i don't think i can ever send this song to her. She's a straight girl and i am an AFAB person. Even if she wasn't straight there's no guarantee she'll love me back the way i love her. But in the meantime, i'll still cherish this friendship we have. What do you think? Should i confess my love with the risk of our friendship being different? Or should i let things stay the way they are and let us stay friends?
