Sleepless : Dub Techno w/ TR8S & Minilogue XD

After hours of work with this set up (2 tracks and a remix done), I felt the need to just jam, had an afternnon off with the intention to share something this evening. So, here it is...
I played chords live, you will hear tons of unquantized stuffs, phone focus s**cks... haha one of my best work 😆
Anyway I really hope you will enjoy it as much as i enjoy to do it :)
Only a bit of limiter on post to sound louder.

Main clock from tr8 send through midi? And how did you patch audio cables? 3,5mm L&R audio out from minilogue to 6,3mm L&R external in on tr8!?

Superb, a great combo, and sounds. I have just got my Tr8-s out again after been in storage so I imagine there must be a update for it. I was looking at the MInilog Xd as a move up from the Microfreak.

Thank you ! 🙏 yes tr8s has update 2.5 recently with new fm instruments, new fx, probabilities.. a big one ! Microfreak is great as well but I never tried it. I chose XD as my first synth which was in my price range and i don't regret :)

I've watched other videos from you. All of them are great. This one is a step above.. I am looking forward to buy the TR8S... I can feel the power of this machine by watching your jams. Would you recommend it as a Drum machine to be used with Ableton? I can record multitrack only with USB right? thx and keep it up!

I get so lost watching your videos. Amazing. I have a Minilogue XD too and I still don’t understand how you get it to play the sequenced plucks at the same time as chords. All so creative and well executed. Hat off to you. I’m interested to know how much of the TR8S sound is samples and how much internal? I am planning to get one myself soon.

Many thanks for the love 🙏 Plucks and chords are from the same patch and minilogue xd is 4 voices polyphony. Plucks uses one voice and is a 3/16 sequence which I mute/unmute steps. So I still have 3 voices to play chords live without thinking of voice stealing :) About tr8s, all sounds here are internal with a bit of sound design, but I don't remember which are samples or acb 😅
