This beautiful video has become my go-to safe place when I’m having a panic attack. I’ve got a little lower back massager that I put on, roll on some lavender oil and I imagine I’m sitting on the end of that bed in this lovely room. I allow the anxiety to move through me, reminding myself that I’m safe, and It does the trick every time. There’s something about this room that’s so inviting and soothing and I love how cleansing the rain sounds. You can almost smell it.

What happens is this: I stay awake and I start analyzing the vid, i.e. wondering if like what kind of car is it , if she has a bf , if they have slept together in the car , or how come it doesn’t bother her getting wet maybe she has a waterproof quilt and pillows, maybe she’s run away, and then, that makes me sleepy and I doze off, and before I know it , I’m sleeping
