Thank you all so much! In in last years I have not played the steel guitars very often but they are still with me. And still love them. Hyunii - quite right. The only thing that never changes is the miserable old idiots who say the young folk are rubbish. My dad said it, my granddad said it, and people my age say it. There will be people in the generation who say it when they get old. In the meantime, the rest of us get to have fun.

My brother loved this song. He named his car Sleepwalk, back in the day when you'd paint the name of your car on the back fenders. This takes me way back to some sweet memories of my brother Eddie...rest in peace 💕

This is done without use of pedals. No pedals available on a Fender Custom. This kind of guitar was used by Santo and Johnny. Thanks.

I first heard this when I was nine or ten. It has been rolling around in my mind ever since. At seventy two, I still love it. I am so glad people are still enjoying it.

@@migueberg43 - I thank you for your kind words. I have an extensive record collection, and enjoy playing them and listening to the music of my parents youth and of my youth. I have this song (the original by Santo and Johnny) in the stack, most of which are cataloged and arranged by the year that they came out.

I remember listening to my dad play this on his Gibson Grande when I was a kid. I always loved that song, but I couldn't remember the name of it. Thank you for your great rendition of it..

My grandfather has passed away 3 days ago after suffering for months but god has answered our prayers and he can now Rest In Piece. We Love You, Andres. Rest Well. This song just makes me remember how much i should appreciate what i have and we don’t realize how much we love something before it’s gone..

That is the first song I can remember growing up! I was 7 or 8 years old. It had an impact on me! I play it on piano. I love it! A TRUE CLASSIC!

I remember getting out of service walking the beach in CA listening to this! Such relaxing memories. Just to bad these kids today don't know or appreciate this type of music or even know how to write this type. I guess we had our own ways and they have their ways. Peace & love to all!

Unbelievable!!! Beautifully done and performed with a very complicated instrument which made the sound perfect! Enjoyed so very much, he made my day, so to say.

Awesome job;this was music the way it should be done;not that computer CRAP!!nothing to me is more beautiful music than steel guitar music.we need young people to learn to play it so it won't be a dying art form.Thank You for bringing back memories of real music and for keeping it alive.

THANK YOU for posting this lovely piece! I used to listen to WFLI, which was the strongest AM radio station in the area, 50,000 watts(of Chattanooga, Tn.), & Tommy Jett was the Disk Jockey. His THEME-SONG was "Sleep-Walk", by Santo & Johnny. I was just a junior high kid, but I loved that song, over & above ALL others! Thanks again for doing THAT song!

Beautiful! haven't heard that song in a long time. Beautifully played. I could watch this video over and over. I'm currently having a lap steel built for me because I've been really getting into country music lately and recording some country songs, so I'm really looking forward to learning how to play this beautiful instrument.
