Because they either 1) have never physically cared for a baby 2) have no common sense, and/or no knowledge of human urination/bowel movements and how they transpire when the human cannot physically care for themselves 3) have questionable parenting, and probably keep their kids in dirty diapers as long as possible, give them water “after a ‘final’ (🤬) feed,” and other survivors’ bias/mom’s mom’s mom’s outdated-dont-try-this-darkly-humorous-“advice”-irl type things, just to keep them from being a conscious bother and reminding them of the consequences of their own actions. 🤷‍♀️ At least that’s what other comments have lead me to suspect.
