To me, riding tired is fine, sometimes I awake up, sometimes I just cut the ride short. I'm generally tired *after* a bike ride, if it's long and fast enough

Did a 124 mile randonneur ride but had to stop at mile 70, because I was falling asleep, not exhausted. Had been up too late night before.

In many states its legal to run red lights or stop signs as a cyclist, in other states they will run you down tackle and arrest you for jumping a stop sign.
