I love this car, it is beautiful but expensive given its performance. Not to compare apples to oranges but the RAV 4 Prime XSE does a faster 0-60 and is 15,000 cheaper. Although is has lot of premium features compared to the Prime XSE. I wish lexus did offer a little bit more in terms of torque and acceleration when it comes to their "Performance" vehicles.

Yes but Toyota/Lexus hybrids will deactivate once you’re coasting and uses only electric most of the time to get off the line. It’s a more advanced auto start stop and it’s brilliant, you won’t notice it.

It’s a hybrid. Hybrids always “start & stop” but it’s not like a full gas engine with on/off. Hybrids have EV power filling those gaps and move on EV power alone at time. Different than what you’re thinking.
