It’s disappointing that Sleepypod still can’t or won’t figure out how to make a durable reflective strip. Think of all the reflective safety vests used all around the world that actually hold up to normal use. Same thing happened to our 3 Sleepypod Sport harnesses that were purchased 5 yrs ago. 3:28

It's nice to know I'm not the only one. I thought maybe I was somehow using it wrong. Both of the reflective strips are pretty much gone for me at this point.

The seatbelt is too loose to prevent a long travel forward.

what size did you get?

I double checked and it looks like Momo's is the large size. Check out the website for their sizing chart using a measuring tape. Momo is on the smaller side for a shepherd and I feel we could have possibly gotten away with a medium.

These so-called safety belts for dogs are tested at 21 mph. The company that tests these ended up with 24 out of 26 brands that were tested, failing. If the harness has plastic buckles, they WILL fail in a crash, even at 21 mph. If the buckles don't fail, the stitching will, making the harness useless. Now think what would happen if you are driving normal speeds above 40-70 mph. There are absolutely no legal standards for these things as there is for a human seatbelt. Why aren't they made with actual seat belt material and stitching? IMO these harnesses are to make the human "feel" like they are doing something at least to make it safer for their dog in a car and sell lots of them. Would you secure your child using one of these? Probably not. Get one of these and just always drive below 15 mph and your dog may be safe, may be. Do your research before being a sucker and spending $40 - $140 for these vests/harnesses.

Wearing a mask while driving in your own car is ridiculous. Kind of shows you the ignorance of of these pet owners thinking a mask will stop the transmission of viral particles.

Not alone there’s a passenger recording. One of them could be immunocompromised or something, don’t be so judgmental about things that don’t even affect you.
