I have seen SGM live every time they played within 100 miles of me. I even met Nils at a gas station in Oakland, couldn't help but to at least tell him what an impact their music and their shows had on me. I was in the bay area but couldn't attend their last shows because of law school finals, and it seriously bothered me. SO glad I have another album to savor. THANK YOU!

I met Nils and Carla outside a Chicago show at the Double Door before I was 21. I brought my brothers ID and got denied immediately so I lingered around their bus at the other side of the venue. I nervously talked with both of them. Autographs and pictures. They were both so charming and sweet and cool. A memory I will never forget. So happy to hear new music ❤🤘

As perhaps the only trucker in these United States that frequently exacerbates their occupational hearing loss to this marvelous band’s music all over the country, I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for unleashing your arts once more. I am being forced to go to Ohio this weekend… and this single and the previous are surely going to be what keeps me alive in those cursed lands.

Thank you. It's been so long but I listen to you to this day. Even if the counts have reached the thousands on each of your songs, I can listen regularly and this feels like you've never lost your touch or sound. You're all still so amazing and beautiful. Your music kept me motivated and inspired in times when I was losing constant internal battles, kept me from harm and helped me ventilate noise I couldn't describe nor heal through other sound. Today I am by far and away overjoyed at the creative reaches I have because of you. I've drawn, painted, sculpted, got into digital painting, 3D modelling, VFX, animation, and picked up singing due to singing to your songs. I've learned vocal ranges from your music alone and have built an intrigue to branch off from physical art into sound at some point in my life. I loved this. Thank you.

If I remember correctly, before the final shows many years ago the band tried to enlist the audience to bring their acoustic guitars and play the last few notes ad infinitum. I couldn't go so I'm not sure if anyone in the pit actually managed to do that.

Oh man, what fun. Glad to see the donkey-headed adversary is still at work out there, bringing the light and throwing curses at the sky. Thanks for bringing me back, as far into night as I’d strayed. All this talk of the old museum and idiots is well and good, but my eternal forever favorite, ever since a weird tape made it’s way from the west to the east coast to score the summer after 8th grade, is that good Acid Rain. Sleep, brother, sleep.
