Good video, I had already ordered the same actuator for my craftsman gt6000 for my box blade. Hopefully mine works just as good. thanks

Since these ride on mowers aren’t built like the garden tractors, have you had any issues with your transmission since using the sleeve hitch ?

I have 2 arms. Do you think 2 actuators (250# each) will work if I wire them together

That turned out very nice !!!!! I have a Craftsman GT6000 with the sears sleeve hitch , I want to install a Linear Actuator , Johnny products charges big money for their actuator . I'm about saving money too , how has the actuator worked for you Sir ???? Is it fast enough and strong enough ?? Thank You for the video ...

Thanks for the comment Barry! It's been doing what I wanted. Probably a bit noisier than a good Warner, but also one heck of a lot cheaper. My wife says I'm cheap i prefer to think Thrifty : > )

Nice video.... May i ask a question? How do you determine the dimensions of these things. I see one that says minimum dimensions are stroke length plus 175mm. Max installation dimensions 2s plus 175mm. Help please?
@SmokymntnEd5 жыл бұрын
Shawn what I did was found out how much Stroke length I needed and then shopped for an actuator that matched the Retracted and extended dimensions...I know that probably didn't help but it's the best I can do

I'll add, I had to figure from the center of the two mounting holes.

Can you give me a little more info on the actuator. Stroke length ? And lift pounds?
@SmokymntnEd6 жыл бұрын
Dana, the Stroke was 4" although if you have enough clearance I don't see why it couldn't be a little longer. The Lift was rated at 1200 Lbs. as I remember. I went out to check it but the stick on info Tag was gone.

What kind of actuators ate those?

Sorry for the delay, the Linear actuator is a used Warner I purchased off of E-bay. The actuator I installed on my Polaris Dump Bed Is A Chinese Knock off of some sort. It may not last a terribly long time but it's been working for 2 years now. Thanks for the comment!

The actuator is not supposed to pull...it will damage the unit...you have to get a pulling actuator versus a pushing actuator...DERP!
