Competitions are cool only a few Magicians in different categories of magic performance art that can win it

The problem with competitions is the judging. Sometimes judging can be very cliquey and matey. The best act doesn't always win!

Also with regard to National "talent" shows eg BGT/AGT etc, the magician/juggler etc NEVER wins. If you are extremely good/lucky you will make the semi or the final. But the vocalist always wins with the public vote because many people can't relate to magic, they can only vote for music so the dice are loaded against you before you begin.
