How can I avoid him if he's consistently teleporting on my back on "8 Pages"? I've been stuck on it for quite a bit bc there seems to be no way to avoid him when he is giving me a good ole back rub as I'm trying to get away from him, is there something I'm missing?

This also happened to me when my vsync was enabled. Check your game settings and turn off vsync if it is enabled, maybe it will help.

Late with pointless advice, but if anyone else has this issue and tweaking the vsync doesn't fix it, you should try capping the FPS to ~60 or so. The AI gets faster with higher FPS counts.

i really don't know how you did it, i tried Hardcore and in The Eight Pages, Slender would be extremely quick and run to me, dead in 5 seconds So congrats, you are really good !

Only if you play on hardcore difficulty, you don't need to collect gas on easy or normal
