16:29 Those trees are called LODs or from what I heard. Used to save up on ram and stuff. Another type of LOD you could find is a very low poly but very badly textured thing that looks like it belongs in Super Mario 64. It stands for "level of detail." Growing up I hated those flat trees with billboarding code because they scared the shit out of me when they go through the camera and I found them gross lmao
