I’m planning to visit Canada with a two year Post Graduate Degree and would like to know how to show my funds for visa approval. 1/ Do I need to have LIQUID CASH available in the bank six months prior to applying? 2/ Would FIXED DEPOSITS work as a sign of funds available? 3/ Would a student loan for the entire amount of education and stay be enough to apply for visa? Please do let me know. Appreciate all your efforts.

Hi guys. Firstly, thanks for a perfectly structured video. I've just one question. I've stock that worth almost 50k and I don't want to cash them before I go to Canada. Even that much money not considered as cash, since I can cash them in 2 days? To illustrate, We're 3 as family. My wife, my daughter and myself. I'll study a 2 year program. I've 50k worth stock and I still can show the 1 year payment + 20k CAD cash. Is it still better to show only like 50k cash instead? I just want my money to grow until I go there. Is it so wrong for their consideration :)

Hi Ms.SLE Good day! Paano if nag plano mag student sa canada,let say tuition is 12500 cad a year then plus 10,000 cad for student plus 4,000 cad para sa partner (common law partner) for cost of living. Sabihin na natin 1.5M pesos lahat po yung peso equivalent ng required proof of fund. Let say nabayaran ko na yung 1st sem or 1 year tuition fee so magkakaroon ako ng resibo for the payment I made, yung resibo na bana iyon is pwedeng maging proof of fund as part ng 1.5 m na required? Oh yung 1.5 m is dapat cash in bank lang talaga? Hindi po ba pwedeng yung 1.5 M is in the form of the following: 1.share of stock investment for showmoney(readily convertible into cash naman agad) worth 500k (nakapanganlan sa common law partner) 2.affidavit of support na may 2 sponsor na may 3M in total ( both sponsor is kapatid ng common law partner ko na nasa USA) 3. Land or Condo tittle worth 3 M (nakapangalan sa common law partner) and this is the condo na tinitirahan namin. 4.Life insurance with investment. Thanks

See here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html Stocks are good to add to proof of funds but don't count much by themselves, as they fluctuate and are not as liquid as cash. A full scholarship is hard to get but even if you have one, don't you still need a place to live, buy food, pay your cellphone bill etc?

Wow! Another informative video Miss MC, I have a little confusion as to how I can transfer my POF in my Kuwait bank account to a Canadian bank should I withdraw that amount when I was about to leave and bring the cash with me? Or Can I open bank account in Canada before my arrival?
@studyliveexploreca4 жыл бұрын
Hi , thanks for your feedback ! I would not recommend carrying a lot of cash.There is a limit of CAD 10.000 at at customs as well I believe. I would do an online transfer later once I am in Canada and have a Canadian Bank account. To get a Bank account you need to go in person, bring your study permit and SIN number, etc. Unless you do a GIC, you can send money there earlier I believe.

Informative video and I am glad because it confirmed some things for my application. I realized your guest is German.I am currently in Germany and planning to leave for Canada. Germany is a very racist, intolerant and closeminded country at the moment for internationals here. New rules and regulations make it difficult for international students who graduate to integrate in their society alongside the unwelcoming attitude for foreigners. I saw the pretentious composure from Felix, typical German he is .im surprised he is Canada because Germans here don’t normally talk positive about North America in general. Ask him about Germany and you would be shocked. Thanks and I will we get more videos
@studyliveexploreca4 жыл бұрын
Bobby Gh Based on ur comments, seems like it also reflects on you. Racism is everywhere, even in Canada, and we should not generalize it based on ur personal experience. Don’t judge people based on a 10 minute video :D like I said, everything u said completely shows ur character as well. Before you decide to move to Canada, think first because you will also encounter a lot of germans and other ethnic group. Anyways atleast Felix helped u answer some of ur questions for ur application :)
@bobbygh12214 жыл бұрын
@@studyliveexploreca First of all, let me state that I wasn’t really targeting Felix personally but just using him as a reference for the attitude and behavior of Germans which is a fact. I don’t expect you to understand because it seems obvious you have not lived or visited Germany yet. One good thing is that, regardless of the numbers of German ethnic group in Canada, they cannot intoxicate the society with the kind of racism, rudeness and intolerance they have in Germany. Canada is not perfect, and yes can still improve , but compared to Germany, it’s way better and miles ahead in terms of multiculturalism, tolerance, inclusiveness and appreciation for immigrants. And yes, I appreciate the contribution from this video. Thanks

Happy New Year! Thanks for the informative videos you are sharing in your channel. Currently living in Dubai with my family and we are planning to migrate to Canada as an international student. My wife will be the primary applicant and she is planning to take a 2years program. I have a cousin who is living in Ontario province and she is willing to support us on providing an affidavit of support. However, my wife is the one who will applying for student permit and myself will be OWP. Will they honor my cousin’s affidavit of support even if she is not related with my wife, which is the primary applicant? Thank You in Advance.

Is GIC(Guaranteed investment Certificate) acceptable for Express Entry ?
@studyliveexploreca Жыл бұрын

@@studyliveexploreca I read all but not mentioned anywhere. Kindly tell GIC, which is used for study permit can be used for FSW as a proof of fund
@studyliveexploreca Жыл бұрын
They accept GICs as a proof of funds for a study permit, so I would assume they accept it for Express Entry as well. But please verify this with IRCC. A GIC is basically a savings account where your money is locked in for a certain period and earns an interest.

I got refusal when I applied through Sds in Jun'22 for a 1yr program in NBCC. Had paid 1yr tuition fee and 10k cad GIC. now i have secured a seat for a 2yr program in Langara. so how much cash should i show, after paying 1 sem fee of 6k cad, in my bank account? 1yr tution fee and 1yr GIC is enough or do i need to show entire 2yrs (tuition + living exp)? this time i am applying in non SDS.

Hello, i have a few questions, What if I have the amount but not in cash ? and what if I only have the amount for the tuition fees but not for the living (bc i could be living at one of my relative's hous)
@studyliveexploreca4 жыл бұрын
I recommend to have the first year of tuition and 10000 cad saved in cash before you apply. If its only a one year program and you get support from your relatives and have say 5000 for living expenses, yes that might work but maybe not.

Hi, not quite sure. I can say though you should have the money at a proper bank and show a signed/stamped statement with your funds and 4-6 month transaction history. Check with CIC for more details

Hello- new subscriber here! I need an advice pls😊 I am planning to take a program on Customer/Client Relationship Management in Toronto. After finishing this course, I’ll apply for PGWP program. But I also know that I may NOT BE able to land a job on supervisory levels during my PGWP because the entry-levels of the above-mentioned course that Im planning to take belong to NOC job C- which as a result will also not qualify me for FSW application. So my question is, can I apply for PNP on any of the provinces as an alternative instead?

How safe your money is in a GIC account on a scale of 10 if you're being refused
@studyliveexploreca4 жыл бұрын
You mean getting it back because your visa application got refused? It depends on the banks terms and conditions, they will likely charge a service fee, regardless. But I would say 9-10 in terms of getting your actual savings back. (remember the currency conversion fees etc as well )

Hi, MC. I really want to go and study in Canada but I only have 250,000 on my bank account but I have relatives in USA who can show their bank statement or certificate as proof of funds to support me. Is that possible? Can I still go to Canada and pay the rest of tuition fees when I get there? Thank you
@studyliveexploreca3 жыл бұрын
Hm it can be possible if you explain it properly and have statements from them how and why they will support you. Make sure the Visa Officer can follow and understand how you will realistically afford your studies from beginning to end.
