Really good lesson and explanation, thanks. Closing the club face on take away to align with spine angle is key; then we all have to resist the 10 or more ways to open the face back up at the top or in downswing

What feedback am I looking for to insure that I’m hitting the ball before turf while hitting off a driving mat , compared to hitting off grass whereby I get instant feedback by a divot ?
