As a cricketer and a slicer, making mention of what cricketers do wrong AND WHY was absolutely amazing! The first channel I’ve seen that has specifically said that. Thank you lads!

I’m self learning golf and I realize you have to fix all your upstream stuff instead of the downstream stuff. Most people try to bandaid the symptoms.

I like these guys but care nothing about who pays them money. I am interested in their coaching, not their equipment. I do not condone them for making the video - I presume Titleist insisted, but I couldn’t be bothered to watch it. Product endorsements actually have a negative effect on me. I started using Titleist golf balls in 1974 and stopped using them in 2002 when they continuously went on about how many top players used them. I know several Titleist players and none of them would use that ball if it wasn’t given to them.

That would absolutely be a great idea to bring golf to a larger audience. Have Rory, Tiger, Scottie ext. caddie for some 15-20 handicap players to prove this point. Have it on a reality TV show setting. Have like a lottery system to draw players, then have them playoff to win the round of golf with one of these caddies. Now that’s something I’d sign up for. 😊

Good stuff gents. High-ish handicapper here but also switched to Titleist from Taylormade irons last year. How about Patrick Cantlay? Watching that guy hit a ball on TV is nothing but smooth and consistent and when that guy is on fire with the putter, look out. A nod to my Canadian boys, Cory Conners and MacKenzie Huges, who i hope breakthrough this year. And a wild card, Sung Jae Im! Language a barrier for him but getting better with his English? I hear he has a great sense of humour and another incredibly steady player who i hope breaks through with that incredible iron play.

Most average f golfers will blade the ball across the green listening to you. You're essentially saying make chipping harder.... why? Bump and run unless you absolutely can't is better advice for almost any amateur. I can hit a flop shot and not blade it which is more of what you're talking about. Still harder to control than a bump and run. No golf teacher will ever tell people to do what you're saying.

This would have been a far more intriguing reveal if it had been a smaller independent brand you were investing in and wanted to grow that brand. Instead its a "This brand aligns with our philosophy as we wanted lots of money and they were willing to pay it!" And that's fine, everyone likes to earn more money, just dont try and spin us a yarn!

Hi jay. Appreciate the comment.no yarn being spun here. For some people money may be the driver. For us it's more about collaboration and alignment of what we are trying to achieve.

I think this is more than a product endorsement deal decision. I think this new partnership has exponential content creation opportunities, which to be fair, with Andy and Piers at almost 1 million subscribers, a large part of their revenue probably comes from KZbin views. Since they’ve relocated to California, their proximity to TPI is going to allow them to create content at what is the most impressive fitting facility in the industry. Although I respect their products, I’ve always been turned off by TaylorMade and Callaway’s approach to flood the market with new products every single year. I really like how Titleist has incorporated their research and development processes and their two year cycles into their marketing campaigns… M&MG will be able to tap into this. With the instruction industry really prioritizing biomechanics, swing analytics, and fitness, having access to Greg Rose and Dave Phillips will be content gold. Just recently, Ian and Mikey from Club Champion (formerly TXG) had taken a return trip to TPI to see Greg and Dave to look at Mikey’s numbers and Ian made the comment that Mikey had just had a swing lesson with Andy and Piers prior and what they were working on at TPI was very applicable to what they were seeing in Mikey’s numbers… this kind of cross collaboration with other creators is going to create great content value… I think it was last year when, at a clinic, Tiger was asked for instruction tips for amateur golfers, and he said, “Stay off f-ing KZbin.” While on one hand I would agree with him because there are a lot of junk channels, I disagree with him in totality, because, I think there is very good content from a select few channels for those who are willing to be discerning. I think Me and My Golf is one of those select few and I’m excited to see the great content that will come as a result of their new partnership with Titleist. Congrats Andy and Piers!
