I've experienced many people suffering an anti social disorder. Some were narcisssist, other sociopath or psychopath. Most diagnosed. I didn't yet know what to think of it. I could not see evil in their eyes. My brother in law murdered my older sister and later was diagnosed before the trial, as a psychopathic narcissist. I didn't see any evil in his eyes neither but 2 out of about 15 had a rather empty look in their eyes, in retrospect. There was one person who wasn't diagnosed, and which was the first person of which i realized he was mentally abusing me. I was already feeling really bad, was on disability and during a conversation he was seriously devaluating my person and it got me angry. Wasn't the first time but this time as i got angry i saw the pupils of his eyes become very, very large.... and as quick as the grew they snapped back to normal rather small size. In retrospect it was like he experienced joy in making me angry. THAT is the only time i had ever seen something almost otherworldy in someone's eyes.

Dr Matt Logan is giving true advice. You can't tell on meeting a psychopath that he is one, nor do they all have "dark eyes" or eyes showing no life. In the spectrum covering narcissism and pscyhopathy there are varying degrees of both conditions, and it takes getting to know a person before you start to see signs of either condition begin to emerge. I've had one devastating experience with a covert narc and that was enough to scare me for life - it changes your ability to trust openly ever again and makes you very wary about just who you may be talking to .

Prefacing my comment by stating that I'm a retired mental health social worker specialized in Level 1 clients both in the Child/Adolescence and later in the Adult system. Level 1's were chronic, severe requiring multiple agencies involvement. In the adult system I had 2 cases that were Rule 11's - guilty but mentally ill and were in the psych ward at the state prison - indefinitely. But I'm not going to focus on them. My focus is on the children who grow up to be psychopaths. There were 3 things at the time we looked for in our clients/patients. Cruelty to animals, fire setting, bedwetting. These behaviors were the first indicators of pathology. Then it was the misc. behaviors - stealing, lying, aggressions, passiveness, etc. For example, one client that I did an intake on had the 3 indicators. 1. Cruelty to animals: He would capture and torture smaller animals - pet hamsters, turtles, birds, lizards etc. He'd skin them alive, set them on fire, break all their bones and so on. 2. Fire setting: He would go around the apartment complex and check to see if car windows were down. Didn't have to all the way down or half down, just a gap would be fine. Then he'd light matches and push them through the opening. Sometimes he'd shove paper in and push the lit matches on top. 3. He was a bed wetter. The parents had taken to padlocking his door at night so he wouldn't get out. Then they had a padlock on the inside of their bedroom to keep him out, and a padlock on the baby brother's door. Padlocked all the cabinets and fridge; the same with all cleaning and bathing supplies, all the utensils and so on. He was 11 years old. At that time, per the DSM IIIr - his diagnosis was Conduct Disorder. Also, one cannot give a child a diagnosis of psychopathy. And in my 20+ years in this field, these children are more common than you think. We cannot wait until these children grow up to be adults before we identify them. Because by that time, they have honed their skills and become proficient in their deeds. Ted Bundy is one example. I don't know what the answer is, but it is something that we should not overlook nor ignore.

The family should have negotiated a lucrative endorsement contract from Master Lock. Monies earned could have been spent on fortifying the door entry ways with reinforced steel and concrete, then get a lucrative endorsement deal with US Steel, and use those proceeds to build a church in which to hold an exorcist event to rid the poor child of all the demons so he can be reunited with family. Then open the church for worship giving prarishners an opportunity to exercise their demons, as there seems to be an abundance of them floating about these days looking for souls to take.

Betwetting is caused often times due to lack of certain nutrients! Diet plays a huge role in aggresion, criminality also. Lack of longterm breastfeeding also together with a lacking mother who is warm, caring, sensitive, calm letting the baby drink in her arms, caressing the babies head, giving kisses! Many hate women, due to a cold demeanor, irresponsive, neglecting mothers who do not interract, play, talk nicely, cuddle with their newborn and baby age, toddler age. Also letting babies sleep in their own bed, instead in their arms body to body cintact. This is my personal experience and experience with nasty men/women.

1% is very rare - not common, but narcissistic tendencies or NPD (specifically vulnerable/covert) behave in that way. Present themselves to everyone else as different from how they are, preemptively spread lies about those who know the truth about their true self so they look like the crazy ones. They are the ones who actually commit the most murders, they do this when they about to get caught in their lies & their true self will be exposed (recall the word vulnerable) OR they are about to lose their control over you (think domestic abuse, where the most dangerous time is when or just after you leave). I've personally known diagnosed & suspected (hard to get a diagnosis for most narcissists because of denial of responsibility & self reflection so they won't voluntarily see anyone who would call them out/ID them) & 1 diagnosed Sociopath (yes that DSM ago). There is a big difference, but both can destroy & damage, just differently. But only a sociopath can dive deep into your psyche beyond the narcissists superficial charm, they are the true con-artists that talk you into things that you'd never do otherwise...not lazy 'Nigerian Prince' cons playing on ignorance/innocence, they play on your internal psychological wounds & deficits. It's a whole different level. Not to diminish narcissistic trauma, that is real & requires real therapy. But as it's said in this video (tho using term psychopath - like the new anti-social personality disorder in current DMS) I knew about sociopaths, I even called the diagnosis (to myself) before I say the official. I thought I was immune...& yes, I came out better than others, but I was still destroyed. So I'm not nit-picking, the difference in terms DOES matter, it IS important, educating yourself is important & it DOES NOT mean that your trauma is less "correct", it is very real, but the difference can diminish the experiences of others. & personally, I'd like everyone to get the treatment & understanding & acceptance that they deserve & not be dismissed because every medical professional thinks they are "exaggerating" or is misusing terms as it's hard enough to be believed as female to begin with. I have an MS & I was blown off or rather LAUGHED off, so this is for ALL of us.

I used to have a friend who I greatly admired. She was fun to be around, very sociable and likable. What I did notice about her was, she never appeared bothered when people wronged her. I used to think, I'd be devastated if someone talked to me like they did to her, but it used to just brush over her without a worry. Her husband came from a very wealthy family and when the farther-in-law died, she left her husband but not before telling him she wanted half his dads inheritance. She told me with glee how she had all these compromising sexual pics of her husband and if he tried to fight her right to half the inheritance, she would send those pictures to his boss. That's when I started to back away. I found out later that she had tried to steal her ex husbands jag and when he stood in front of the car, she smiled at him before running him over. She went to prison and I've never had anything to do with her since.

I was charmed when I first met my language professor almost a year ago. He was cheerful guy, seemingly loved what he did, and was super friendly to kids which made everyone like him on the first class itself. He was particularly close with me.. Or I think so because I've never seen him interact with other students like how he did with me. For example, during our first class, we were writing something and he sat beside me. I was so focused on my work I didn't notice him at first, but then I felt as if someone was staring at me. I turned and saw him looking straight at me. My face. I just smiled awkwardly and made small conversation (I wasn't too social at the time). When I mentioned it to my friend who's highly intuitive and slightly spiritual (trust me it is very crucial because he is also spiritually active), she was the one who made me realise that was weird. Why would he stare at me instead of what I was writing? Well.. Two months after our class started, I noticed his mask slipping. At first I thought it was just me and the lights were probably playing tricks on me, but soon, I realised it wasn't just me and two of my other close friends also felt the same. Sometimes, he has this maniacal look in his eyes when he smiles. Almost like he's taunting us. I consciously backed away from being close to him and I know he noticed it. He has tried to get close to me again but when he saw I wasn't going to let that happen, he stopped. Sometimes he acts as if I don't exist. I scored the highest in his class this semester, and he didn't even acknowledge me or said congrats, which is weird because he was praising the kid who scored highest last semester. He's very odd. We tried to observe his pattern. Very unpredictable. Sometimes we feel like he has split personality. Very easy to irritate, but won't show. Unfortunately we still have two more months to go. After that, we'll be free. His gaze unsettles me. Usually I can maintain eye contact with people.. Except him. Very creepy and mentally exhausting.

Psychopaths ARE born that way. Sociopaths are created by nature and nurture.

@@lindafarwell3408 based on what? What evidence? When you study these personalities almost all of them were abused. I’d like to know how many cases there are of a psychopath that had zero trauma in childhood. I bet you can’t find one.

All you folks who imagine you can spot a psychopath thru their eyes or their aura or some other Spidey sense for psychos you claim to possess, I would respectfully suggest that you are actually suffering from confirmation bias. You are looking for outward signs of psychopathy in someone you already know isn't normal or even someone you've been married to for years and know extremely well. You aren't counting all the psychopaths you don't have a clue about, which is almost all of them. There are too many cases of men who outwardly lived normal, often mundane lives by day but who stalked raped tortured and murdered people for fun when the mood struck or an opportunity presented itself. Then they return hone and cook dinner with the wife and help the kids with homework and not a single person who knew them had the slightest idea who they really were. Try to find anyone who knew BTK or Israel Keyes personally who has a single negatve word to say about either of these prolific serial killers. There aren't any, every single person the police interviewed once their crimes were discovered spoke of them in glowing terms. No one had a clue

Everything in the superficial USA is about dollars, from people to institutions, such as prisons. In Europe it's much more about the people, not possessions, which also goes into the prison system, which is about rehabilitating the criminals back into the society. Something what we are definitely lacking from you, is death sentence.

I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder about two years ago. I have alot of psychopathic tendencies. don't mistake this comment as me bragging or seeking attention, please. the past few years I've been trying to figure out if I'm a psychopath. I'm completely self aware. I lie, steal, manipulate, cheat. I've done horrible things, even as a child. I sometimes think of even worse things, and in detail. I don't always regret these actions though. i don't know if this is a calling out for help, or a rant. I just feel really confused right now. I want help, but I feel so far beyond that point, plus it has protected me for so long. I don't know what to do

@gmercado72983 ай бұрын
@NatureofDi yes absolutely, and i have a long term partner as well. I always have had alot of love towards my pets. i killed two of my pets when i was younger. they were guinea pigs. they were already dying, and i felt like it was the right thing to do to end their suffering. but i didnt feel anything when doing so. I used to not be able to maintain relationships, but I've been doing much better now. I'm just scared in like 30 years from now I'll do something dangerous because I never got help for it. I feel like people have really overlooked my mental health. It can get really dangerous, but I don't think people believe what I say when I try to explain what's really on my mind

@@gmercado7298 I think you can go to a psychiatrist to get a diagnosis about it. Simply share your thoughts and claim to be tested. I think having a diagnosis will make you feel better on the point of uncertainity. Otherwise, you can learn more about how to deal with some feelings for the future by reading, informing yourself about coping and control mechanisms. Meanwhile surrender yourself with people who care about you and love you! I think love and value can be a cure for many disturbances or conditions. On the opposite side, try to stay away from environements that trigger you and undermine your value. These people and toxic environments can get the worst side out of you. Other than that, I wish you the best in life. 🍀

Wow. Currently being chased by a psychopathic killer in the Middle Tennessee area right now, and as anybody could guess I am in complete fear over mine and my family's & friends life. 'suffering life' is the exact term I have been experience of and am in fear of, they are still attempting to comprehend this guy. I'm in complete co-operation with Law Enforcement and federal agents to track down this man who has been over my shoulder the whole time. It is terrifying to experience; and even more horrendous to know there are or were multiple people suffering under his mind games - still currently, as of right now. If anybody in the Middle Tennessee area spots or has seen a strange unmarked black police vehicle driven by a fake-cop by the name of Seannery. y'all better be on the look out. He knows how to get away with murder case-and-point. It probably won't be long before this guy is caught, and they are tracking his every move. Please keep yourselves safe out there as I have had to go through some TERRIBLE life-threatening mental torture to survive the grasp of this monster. He targets children and I have witnessed predatory actions first hand and am currently in a paranoid state as I type this.

Imagine being so scared to even consider the notion that your idol is a false idol? That’s cultist mentality and the worse bit is you know it. Because denial and lying to yourself begins in your own mind. I don’t give a flying F about Trump. But I would consider anyone I idolise may not be who they say they are because you simply do not know them! I'm not quite finished, and it's been slightly touched on re careers, but being a psychopath and having psychopaths in society is not necessarily a bad thing. Very few psychopaths go out and kill. The types of careers smart psychopaths go into may utilise their psychopathic traits. Lack of empathy can be an advantage. If as a surgeon you are operating on a small child - the same age and sex of your own child say - is it not better to have no emotions to distract you, and instead the psychopath can logically provide the best care? I see the majority of psychopaths as just another neurodiversity.
