This documentary is more than just a video. It's life lesson 1. A man risking his life to earn money for his son to go to school 2. Two elders helping someone because they were friends with his late father 3. The wisdom, knowledge and intelligence of elders. They literally know everything happening in the jungle 4. Even after killing the animal, they had to do magic to stay safe from the spirits of the dead. Africa is blessed with soo much hidden treasure and wisdom which no money can buy

I am an Indonesian, for almost 1000 years of our written history, our land filled with conflict, betrayer, traitor and incompetent leaders. Good leaders are hard to find. We were under Dutch colonial for 350 years and i found, it was a better time of our history. 77 years after WW2 and Dutch colonization ended, we have been fighting for leadership and made millions people lost their lives. I guess Africa just got same fate with us Indonesian, desperate for a good leader.

A snake is a small price to pay for an education in his country. It just goes to show how selfish some people are when they get a free education and then complain because they don’t want to go to school or drop out. These kids cannot get out of poverty they live in if they live in if don’t go to school unfortunately it does cost them money, he doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in that village.

In Africa sorcery mean nothing than wisdom of elders , the old skills come from elders,in the west this may look like a documentary but in Africa it's the history, when the whole village come together at noon time this is what our elders use to tell us as fairy tales which are real. " one day a young man struggled to send his child to school but can't get enough money to buy the school kit, and decided to challenge a huge snake so that he can get the money by selling the snack skin ,but disregarded the elders advise and went by himself and but he fail to capture the snake, he cry out the the elders to help him .......and the elders did it "" These are our réal fairy tales that have been keep from thousands of years .

This is the true meaning of the adage that says it takes a village to raise a child. They have made great sacrifices to raise money for the education of the little boy. This video also demonstrates ethical hunting. They only go to hunt to eat and earn money for the essential things. Nothing is senselessly killed, nothing is wasted, working closely and passionately with their prey.

Spent more time in the library next to the hot radiators than at home... Left in 1974 for merchant ships and back to the heat... Lol.. life is strange indeed... And respect to those village elders for a balanced decision... Respect... Thom in Scotland.
