Yadav is a Tharu and lives with his family in the Teri plain, South of Nepal. In his tribe, people have learned since childhood all about the animals and the beliefs of the Nepalese jungle.
Thanks to his knowledge of animals and his incredible bravery, Yadav has quickly become the most famous guide of the Chitwan reserve. Riding on an elephant, he guides the veterinarians to sick animals that only he can locate thanks to their tracks.
Documentary: “Overseas legends - Yadav, the last refuge”
Direction: Jean Queyrat & Benoît Ségur
Production: ZED, RFO & AB Productions

Yadav does a superb work for the conservation. Wonder why back in the days when 39 tigers were slaughtered, they didn't think of future generations enjoying nature.

Why does the video quality look like it was taken in the 50's? I am genuinely curious. Is this old footage or the video taken from a distance using zoom lens. Otherwise Slice takes great video quality. The documentary itself is great, and I love it.

The team of Slice must have given proper full name of "Yadav". It is a 2nd name. The service he's rendering to the wildlife should be appreciated at least by these documentary makers who are making multiple benefits out of it ... It shows narrow mindedness of SLICE.
