Love the shaman!! I can't wait and really look forward to pimping out my shaman with some nice scales making it mine and one of a kind!!! Also my new new favorite EDC I now carry all the time is that satin m4 natural g10 bladehq manix2 you also have, that thing is just amazing!! My favorite manix of all time! Been using and abusing it and so far the m4 has held up great!!

You just made me REALLY want a Lil' Native in a upgraded steel. Like, really! Haven't handled all these knives, but a solid list for sure. Cheers!

Doctor Frunkey Yeah sorry. The Lil Native is just great. It and the Chaparral Lightweight have been living in my pocket since I got them. Really getting into smaller knives lately.

Do you guys think i should go Lil Native with Compression Lock or should i want for back lock?
@DoctorFrunkey
@DoctorFrunkey 6 жыл бұрын
c@yzi compression lock ftw

Doctor Frunkey : because of the clip i guess Compression lock version will have better pocketability? On back lock Lil Native version you have different (larger)clip + lanyard hole (not sure if i ever need it). I would love to see Native with compression lock as well in future. 😉

Agreed. Compression Lock. But I'll probably get the slip joint also so that I can carry it in Europe.

I agree with your comments in reference to the Shaman. I think it is the most visually pleasing of all their knives fo under $200.00 Recently I thought it was the best in the under $150.00 category but they have decided to artificially bump up their prices by lowering the MAP discount and raising their their prices. I think that For $150 it was a great deal for it's quality and design but @ $180.00 plus I think it has a lot of stiff competition at that price. All you have to do is look at Kizer's offerings at that price. Looking forward to your next video.

Taichung quality is awesome. If u get a chance, the Domino is superb, it’s xhp is scary sharp, as u already know, and it’s on spyderco’s discontinued list. Greta choices, great vid 👍

The benchmade bug out had me excited until the nick showed how easy it was for the scales to touch...no go for me The lanyard hole killed the para 3 for me it's also taller than the pm2 somehow? Besides the places that are limited to under 3" I don't see why anyone wouldn't just stick with the paramilitary 2. Love that manix you have great video!
@SliceyDicey

Thanks for watching! Yeah I added and removed the Para 3 a couple of times but since I changed the clip, I do carry it a lot. For me, 3" is a perfect length and with the aftermarket clip, it's good EDC. But it was a horrible design choice for sure.

The scales are not easy to touch!!

You can buy the Bug Out for 130, and custom scales for 90$. Then the knife would be really awesome. You would have a great blade, with awesome scales.

I saw pics on bladhq the shaman with a dlc blade is on it's way for sale, and to me has slightly different looking black scales - from the close up pics they kinda have a woven pattern look to them it looked like, but found nothing in the ad info description about it being different, still g10 it said... Its more expensive, and still comes in s30v... Looked pretty good, black on black DLC shaman! Plain or full serrated

Thank you for making the video. You should not say get rid of the lanyard tube!! Just because YOU don't like, or use a lanyard. You do not speak for knife buyers. You have the option to use it or not. I don't like all the pocket clip holes in production knives. But I know why the holes are there. The knife is trying to cater to the most people possible. If you don't like lanyard holes you should buy custom knives. Then you won't have to worry about lanyard holes

I really can't fathom how you have done all these review's without ever having a Taichung Spyderco. I feel that the Taichung knives are their best overall quality knives. You must get a Domino to understand the level of quality that they achieve. If you need one to try or review I will happy to send you one, I have 3 so it's no problem. Let me know.

Mike Joseph That would be awesome!!! I have to actually buy stuff from Spyderco because I’m still small potatoes so far so no loaners from the big guys. I’ve almost purchased a Domino on multiple occasions. Email me at sliceydicey75@gmail.com.

Disagree on the kizer dukes. Mine didn't fire that great. Guess you got a good one. I still liked it. Although it was a little to light. Can't tell i had it on. Not surprisingly i lost it. And I never lost one before.

Hey bud, would you prefer the cutjack in the 3.5" or 3.0" mini in M390?
@SliceyDicey
@SliceyDicey 6 жыл бұрын
I slightly prefer the bigger size but it's all relative. I have the big one in M390 and the mini in D2.

Slicey Dicey which size would you suggest for edc use?
@SliceyDicey
@SliceyDicey 6 жыл бұрын
I'm perfectly happy with the 3.5 for EDC but some people prefer smaller. They both feel about the same size in hand.
