Loving this video! Those wings looks amazing! I prefer the flat wings. Iike to separate the bone in half and they are much more pleasant to eat that way, imo. The pulled pork looked excellent. I can tell the quality was on point, but it sounds like their sauce is what gives them their signature taste and makes them unique. I personally prefer to inject, marinade overnight and make the meat so flavorful that you can enjoy it with or without sauce. I also like to use a blend of woods, rather than Hickory. It's an art and there are so many ways you can make your own signature style. Thanks so much for another great review. It's so nice to see all these unique, one of a kind restaurants with great food that you show us.

That’s one of the best ways to eat the flats for sure. Your style of smoking really sounds on point. Have you tried the Traeger Signature grilling pellets? This looked so good. They have a great menu! Saw Fried Green Tomatoes on there...YUM! I am not a big wing fan, so I can't really answer your question on that. We agree - their menu selection is great. We’ve had their fried green tomatoes in the past and they are delicious. Haha, that potato salad felt like it wasn’t going anywhere while it was on the fork but we definitely couldn’t edit out that blooper. Jennifer says, thank you very much and that her shirt was a Wal-Mart find years ago. Thanks so much for watching, Cathy! By the way, we tried a moonpie microwaved for 5-10 seconds. Jennifer loves the drums as well. The boys and I prefer the flats but have no complaints with the drumsticks either. We have tried the smoked turkey at Slick Pig and it’s very tasty. A couple of years ago, we bought a Thanksgiving feast from here which included the smoked turkey. They also have Easter and Christmas feasts that they put together. The holiday meals are reasonably priced and you can pick them up before the holiday and heat them up the following day. Thank y’all for watching!

It's wild seeing a place that i've been going to for a decade and a half on KZbin. The Pig was my introduction into BBQ at age 6. The wings are to die for, my go-to sandwich is the pulled pork sandwich for just about anything. The Half pound/pound of chicken is a great for my student lifestyle (returning MTSU alumni), If i'm hungry but don't want to gorge myself. The Pig is definitely a 'Boro staple. Glad you enjoyed it.

You guys must MTSU graduates. You know your Slick Pig Que. The hickory smoked wings and potato salad is the best. Owners are originally from Georgia, homemade cole slaw underrated IMO. It may not be the best overall BBQ restaurant in the world, but it fits this community like a glove.

Hi there, Ed! You are correct! We are both MTSU graduates. Slick Pig is one of our top favorite BBQ places in TN. We agree with you on those hickory smoked wings and their potato salad. They are the best! We have tried many items there, and somehow, we have not tried their coleslaw. 😲 We will definitely have to check it out next time we visit there. The owners are such a nice family and so friendly. One of my (Jennifer) cousins worked there for a few years before her family was stationed in different parts of the country (her husband is in the Navy). Whenever they come back to town, they always purchase a huge order of wings, freeze them, and take them home to enjoy a few at a time. You are so right - Slick Pig is definitely a huge blessing to the community, and many memories have been shared with family and friends throughout the years over some of those amazing wings, tasty sides, and a big ole glass of their sweet tea. It's a mustard based potato salad but here recently we've been coming across more mayo based potato salads. We recently tried some mayo based PS at Dollywood and also at Hattie B's.
