That's a pretty good model of an 08-10 LAPD slicktop Charger. The lighting is basically the bare minimum required by California Title 13 (the law that regulates lighting on emergency vehicles): one forward facing "steady" red light, visible for 500 yards; one rear facing amber flashing light, also visible for 500 yards. Law enforcement agencies started using blue lights back in the mid-70s (I believe LASD was among the first to incorporate blue lights onto their cars, if not the first), and the LAPD slicktops only started receiving blue in the front of the car after LEDs became more popular (and cheaper).

Hi Carson. It has been a while. I stopped watching at episode 1000 because I stopped getting notifications. And when I look at this notification I am reminded that my 2010 red Dodge Charger was struck by a tree due to hurricane Isaias. And now I cannot drive my car until I get it checked and get it back. The good note is that all of the damage is covered by insurance. And I am getting a rental for longer trips to work. Be safe, have fun. Officer First thirty minutes.
