A slide version of this classic, inspired by the playing of Jim Crawford.
The performance is in Open D tuning, but tuned down a half step (low to high C# G# C# F G# C#)
The lesson is in straighforward open D tuning (DADF#AD)
In the performance I'm playing a 1946 Gibson L50, amplified through a little Vox amp.
In the lesson I play a dobro style resonator made by Canadian Joseph Yanuziello.

The black man influenced the white man with the blues. White guys turned that blues into rock n roll, but it was chuck berry & Jimi Hendrix that taught people how to play lead guitar over it.

Congratulations on your class, I will train here in Rio de Janeiro. Who knows, maybe a Brazilian might be able to play delta blues too? The problem is that in Brazil there is almost no study material on this beautiful musical style.
