BRAP. The next Slide pucks I'm keen on trying are the Beefcake slide pucks from Beefcake skate. They're Canadian based and I've heard very very good things. What other slide pucks out there should I give a try? Decent are said to have some banger slide pucks as well.

Fort la marca, bam bam, triple 8, Urethane Burners, wish black velvet was still making if I'm thinking of right brand name.

@@ssub_ynot Triple Eight aren't really that good of quality pucks, they are way too thin for any kind of life to be had on them and the construction of the gloves just isn't that good either

Great tip and hack. Really like the spacer for distance off the ground. I keep grinding my finger tips on my leather gloves.

Things I'd like to see in future slide pucks/options. ------> 1). Built in puck risers or just thicker pucks. Could even be slightly hollow for weight reduction 2). Fully beveled design. Why does the bevel stop on every puck? 3). Tracer pucks, we've seen spark pucks and smell infused holsom, now I want some that chalk the road or some other non permanent marking that shows where your hand was 4). Urethane pucks with formula and durometer options. Durability questionable? 5). Recycled/biodegradable pucks 6). Fully radius dome shaped puck and small initial contact patch 7). More unique colors or color changing. Talking glitter, metallic, marble swirls, patterned graphic, multi layer color, or clear translucent options 8). Hourglass⏳ Shaped puck risers that let you grip camera sticks better more stably 9). Rocks tied with cloth to hands as pucks like Ben stiller in that movie

UHMWPE is strangely popular for non-skateing purposes. It is not cheap, but you don't need to look far. I was able to get 20 mm thick offcut from a big plate (which was still pretty big) and it is now third season that it feeds whole local community. It is a really good way to deal with slide pucks when you have difficulties when ordering abroad and/or short of money. Can still sell them for locals, but for much less price then they usually cost. We also tried acrylic plates, but they behave strangely. They grip at the moment you put hand on the pavemnt, but then suddenly start to slip a lot.

You mention the suss pucks are good for Aussie roads, as an Aussie who hasn't traveled, what makes ours different? I'm looking for my first set of pucks so this stood out to me. Do we have rougher roads that lessen grip, so a sticky puck is fine? Or something else I'm missing.. Cheers, and thanks for your time uploading this! ✌️ *Edit for grammar fix

Hey man, can you tell me what brand of gloves I should get for my first pair that won't be a disappointment in terms of durability and protection, like for the back of the hand when I fall? My searches aren't turning up info that I feel like I can trust.
