Which pitch have you had more success with as a coach or as a player?

Personally a curveball, but I threw variations on it from different arm angels, and always made sure to never hang one. Sliders for me (as a rightly) only worked on left handled hitters. I struck out the international leagues (AAA) leading home run and rbi hitter with 3 times in a game with curveballs, and with a splitter, initially throwing one at his head letting him know I meant business. Baseball, sadly, has removed the intimidation factor from pitching, you can’t really brush back hitters, drill them, never see brawls anymore. Manfred is a disaster.

Hi coach, it's me again, I went to tryouts for a college team only did I realize when the other players pointed out that my arm slot goes from three-quarters with a fastball and unconsciously turning sidearm when I throw a slider and changeups, how can I fix this coach?

Your arm has a lifespan in it, only so many pitches before it goes, so choose wisely.

@@abs1071 look at the MLB report on P arm injury uptick. They are attributing it to the sweeper being the latest and greatest pitch. Granted I've never pitched at a high level and take stats with a grain of salt when you don't know the whole picture. But having watched a considerable amount of ball at all levels, I'd say there isn't a perfect pitch and hitting spots and a mix of mph is the best recipe. Not everyone can do that. Or else we'd have a Tom Glavin retiring every year.
