Hi Ellie Cool video, you make running up a mountain look easy.

Ah thank you! I swear I’m absolutely dying at the top 🤣 I try to include some shots of me walking, as that definitely happens. And what I didn’t manage to film was the sections where there was no trail, and I had to battle my way through some unforgiving heather 😂

Well done, that was a great film. Reminded me of the one and only time I was up Slievenamon 40+ years ago when I worked in Clonmel. Didn’t run though 😂.

Ah running isn’t mandatory - and the closer I got to the top, the slower I was going 😂 Thanks!

Nice video really enjoyed it ! Ive noticed you haven't done any hiking videos of the Comeragh mountains , any planned for the future ?

Thank you! And yes, while we have hiked in the Comeraghs, we’ve yet to film them. We do plan to! ☺️ - ellie

Lovely looking hike that one. I see you have the Aga range there. Does that do the hot water for you? I have a childhood memory (not very good) of falling over and burning my hand pretty badly on the top of my Granny's range. It was great for doing potato cakes though, so I don't hate Agas :)

The aga is in my (Ellie’s) family home - it does the water and the radiators, as well as being super warming itself (as your memory recalls 😅). It’s lovey for cooking on, I’ve made plenty of potato cakes and the like myself ☺️ Couldn’t afford one for our own house, but we have two wood burning stoves that heat the place, so still get the nice feel!

@@ToughSoles TWO stoves ! Nice. You're right about the cost of an Aga or Rayburn though. I shudder to think what they cost since the gas and electricity problem 😬. Glad I have ONE woodburner though :)

🤣🤣🤣 I know, we spoiled ourselves. In our defence, we managed to salvage both, so they didn’t cost us anything. And yeah same, the oil bill is something I’m delighted to not have. Recently got a small lorry of wood delivered for a quarter of what my families oil bill will be fore the winter 🥶

Not such a long way to Tipperary, given the difference between 720m and 720mi (mi = mile, US measure = 1.609km)😉
