It just realized that the Egyptian God cards still can use as tech cards. Slifer became a floodgate, Obelisk being a tower, and Winged Dragon of Ra as a Sphere Mode summon.

@@kylenguyen7371, "Towers" are monster that are typically has high stats such as ATK and DEF with some sort of inherent protection or immunity, in which case in Obelisk, it has immunity on targeted effects.

qliphort towers was the first towers monster thats why it is named after it is unaffected by basically all card effects and has 3k atk every turn your opponent has to send a card to gy but there are few other towers card nowadays like raidraptor

Honestly the only thing holding Slifer back is that his effect should also apply to DEF position summons too, and go off their DEF stat.

Summon the synchro to out it. Slifer only works on atk position monsters so it isnt really that devastating except for link monsters. This is like complaning about empen when its easily by any deck that doesnt 100% rely on links and even then floo can set up multiple intterupts.@@FNigslol

I have some really good Slifer builds, my strongest I believe is lab cuz it involves transaction rollback and revive sky god as well as grass that’s greener, but u should see

This is a really cool take on the deck! I got cooked by a tearlement slifer deck a while ago, using the milling to get transaction rollback and slifer in the grave for combo, on top of a solid generic tear board. I'm not sure what's better, but I definitely think slifer is underexplored.

I just started playing a couple weeks ago I went for all slifer right away. If you can get him out with 3 to 4 cards he is very effective actually getting him to hand with out relying on effects that send him back to graveyard is the problem.

With a field spell that searches a Divine Beast monster, gives protection from targeting and destruction, and ignores them going to grave if special summoned God cards could probably be a really good rogue deck

Branded Slifer is funny. You can also play a Labrynth variant and have plenty of discard outlets, along with the option to utilize Peaceful Burial as a way to get it in the GY(and not being able to activate its effect the turn it's dumped with that card means you can do something funny where it stays on the field an extra turn).

They should leave the effect that they are immune to everyhing but can die for battle is easy to kill them the Ra is the most difficult but the Slifer and Obelysk is the easist to eemove from the field by battle. Oher thing they could do is change the Slifer effect where even if the moster is summon in defense position you can destroy monsters with 2k attack or lass, the effect of remove 2k of a monster only work if the monster is summoned in attack position, and with so many cards behing ab le to summon allot of moster in face up defense position and you can escape the effect of remove 2k attack from monsters by chain link the effect like you can summon 3 monsters in chain and the Slifer only kill one of them.

The God cards are not bad they just restricted from having anime effects. Like Ra can do what all the support does and more. Also being monsters that cannot be defeated except by more points power, not even kajuos will work on them, and can't chain to them is very fundamental to their effectiveness. This what makes Ra the most powerful, that even if you overpower it some how it will come back and it can banish your powerful monster ,and if it goes to Phoenix mode it can nuke your field monsters and spells/traps and u cannot chain anything to it before or after the effect until it is fully concluded. With anime effects they by default very powerful. They wouldn't yet be meta because they hard to search and stuff. But they will see play. They would be super good this way but Slyiva is already good as an anti meta tool/tech card in Lv10 support archetype deck. To be in the mate they need a generic Link 3 version that requires a link level 3 at min, to summon. In the current state Slyvia is the best of the 3. In normal state Ra is best.

Imagine if they made Strings combo of Revival Jam and Card of safe return plus infinite cards into 1 and it can only kick in when Slifer is on board(since its the god Strings had) make it so no other cards can be used except these ones and Slifer so its not abuseble like its good but not ban worthy or breaking other dam decks 😅 because ive always wanted to pull off the combo but Revival Jam is waiting a whole turn to do anything 😂 Also slap on the effect of," if your opponent were to banish a card from GY put on top of deck instead" , so if called by the grave were to banishe Slifer and or the new Jam monster bloop on top of deck, sure you disrupted but notnwreck the deck especially if youre only using 1 copy of each, make the Jam monster be like summon 1 from deck upon leaving field, at end phase if on board return one from hand, gy or banishment and draw 1 card, draw 2 if Slifer is on field 😅 Extra avoid Exodia splash, your hand is played revealed unless its a Slifer card, so like draw reveal card and if its slifer you can hide it, but if you draw a card that isnt Slifer your opponent can put non slifer card bottom of deck and you draw a new one or opponent can hit other non slifer cards in hand because why ruin the draw power with Exodia when end goal is ♾️ Slifer 😅
