Hi, I'm autistic and part of that is that I'm not a very big fan of touch most of the time (I've recently started being okay with hugs again). But, I'm also very touch starved, which is a pain when paired with my touch adverseness. So, personal attention ASMR scratches that "I want to be touched but not with the icky skin-on-skin feeling" itch I have (I don't even like it when my own skin touches itself so sitting cross legged for long periods is ew) I've also been saying some bad things about myself so the added touches of "perfect" really help with that as well. You, and the plethora of other ASMRists have helped me and several others out with our respective problems; from anxiety to negative self-thoughts, and I'd just like to say thank you.
