🥹💚 This is so beautiful. I grew up with my great grandma telling me stories of Sligo, where she and her family lived. Thank you for this. 🥹💚

Ireland is a heavenly island; I am planning to move to the country from Bangladesh to settle down. The balanced work-life culture attracts me to Ireland alongside other factors. I hope to visit the places in future

Thank you! I'm from Sligo, but have not been there for 6 years, so it was a nice reminder of my home place. If you do another video Rosses Point, Lissadell House and Aughamore near side of Lough Gill are very pretty spots. There is also Slish Wood and Hazel wood, Parke's castle and half moon bay all out the same direction. Thanks again and enjoy your travels! Martina

Beautiful! Do you remember what Month of the year this was? My girlfriend and I are planning on going to your country from the 14th of March to the 27th of March. Is this a good time to go to Ireland?

Gleniff Horseshoe is one of my top natural scenes in Ireland. I love getting out and walking a lot of the shoe. The old school house is some site!

For your viewers, Strandhill is lovely, but if you're caught in the rain, wife and I love a stop for a seaweed bath at VOYA, and fish and chips at Shell's Cafe.

It seem sthat most of the self guided tours recommend starting in Dublin, heading south and then up the Atlantic Coast. I mapped a trip from Dublin to Donegal, (home of my ancestors), and south along the Atlantic coast. Is there anything wrong with that? Love you channel! I'm happy to return the favor with info when you're in Wyoming and Yellowstone.

My wife and I have been 8 times, and I love that you'd go up the eastern coast to Donegal. The Antrim Coastal Road is *stunning*. Yes, it adds a day or two to your itinerary, but well with the detour. Can pick up the Causeway, Dunluce castle, Downhill Demesne, etc.

@Laura Barton - Live Adventure Travel :) I did! Very much. Albeit brief, every moment was memorable. I looked up the internet - obviously - since I was traveling myself without a car I needed to do a lot of planning and your videos were very helpful, in both planning the timing and other details (your advice to carry cash for the bike at Inishmor ;) ) as well as to boost my spirits and eagerness :) Thanks much, - Lux (Lakshmi)

anyone have a thought on why so little trees on this landscape?
@StepDub Жыл бұрын
It’s mainly down to domestic sheep grazing. They crop any saplings and can of course climb any Irish terrain. On the other hand most tree growth on highland areas is pine monoculture, so not much better. There are moves to restore native tree species, but nothing major so far. Personally, I quite like the treeless landscape, but I’d like to see more mixed deciduous woods as well.

Why are there so many narcissistic would bes pretending to produce something useful for others when it’s all really ‘look at me/us’. Sligo has so much and it’s so poorly exposed here
