They could've either delayed It to release on the PS2, considering the massive sucess the PS2 had at Launch, so imagine X6 as an early PS2 game, It would Just blow up in Sales numbers. they could also cancel It or start over on the PS2, or even Just make a prequel since X5 has already concluded the story of the X games and the creator was going to Focus on Megaman Zero, the game that should follow the X series and even have the actual X robot being the antagonist, not his Lame version called copy X. X6 was a rushed cashgrab to cash in the Megaman X sucess, not only having horrible balancing in order to intentionally make It a "hard game" but also disrespecting the creator's vision and even screwing up the story and characters from X games.

X6 was at least tolerable once you learn the tricks needed each level, but the first blind playthrough is a goddamn nightmare (like how to beat High Max just with a buster which is downright impossible).

nintendolife25 I have to disagree with some exceptions (the two Gates Stages, this stage and Ground Scaravich stage and the Leap of Faith in Commander Yammarck stage), all the deaths are fair, if you include free hits, you also need to include games like Classicvania, Ghost n Goblins and Ninja Gaiden as unfair, if the games had better controls it would be much more fun and many death wouldnt happen.

I see why this stage is so hated now. How did they get away with creating a "stage" which is only made up of 5 of the same exact mini boss with little to no changes (and a very small actual level section)? It would be bearable if the health bar for the mini boss was halved and a few more actual level sections were added, but this is just lazy game design. And why is a stage for the most fire-based boss name and design in the series... A cave level with almost no fire hazards whatsoever?

Sentimentation Actually, most of the fire-themed Mavericks' levels _aren't_ caves, and most of them do have fire hazards. Flame Mammoth's level is a weapon factory with flame jets and pools of lava. Flame Stag and Magma Dragoon's stages are basically volcanoes, with plenty of lava to spare. Burn Dinorex's stage is a cave, but it has a ton of lava. Flame Hyenard's level is a factory literally floating in a sea of lava. And Burn Rooster's level is an underground junkyard/volcano that also has lava.

My problem with this sub-boss is that it's: -Large (takes up less than half the screen). -Not slow. -Has small weakspots; Otherwise, it's invulnerable. -Fires from more than one place, in more than one direction.

Bobber Flobber 1: Each individual fight, though having different terrain, utilizes the exact same strategy. And there are 3-4 of them. 2: Each individual fight, due to how long they are, is repetitive due to the extreme overabundance of health the miniboss has. In a game like this, you shouldn't be following/abusing the same pattern for more then a few seconds, let alone 2-3 minutes.

I bet the number of times a Nightmare bug flying into your face, dealing damage and causing you to go 'FFFFFUUUU' is innumerable. Even so, great job getting through the level! By the way, are you able to determine why charged shots sometimes pass through the Nightmare Snakes' projectiles and sometimes get blocked when they come into contact? It happens with the Blade/No Armour as well, and I'm entirely confused as to what causes it to be blocked or not.

It's hard for me to tell for certain but I think once the plasma shot creates three plasma balls it loses the ability to pierce through enemies and dissipates on the next hit. EDIT: Actually the Nightmare bugs always seem to block it so maybe it's a special property some enemies have?

You're expecting it to be a fast-paced level but instead you're just stuck in a bunch of rooms chipping away at the health bar of some weird mechanical donut. De forma mas objetiva el escenario de Blaze Heatnix en realidad es malo. Eso si la música que tiene si es muy buena. Pero eso no puede justificar que tengas que enfrentarte al mismo mini jefe la dona roja 5 vences en un mismo nivel además este nivel sin mejoras específicas es casi imposible. Pero lo perdonó un poco porque con el poder cargado de Metal shark player y el poder de Infinity Mijinion con Zero esas donas no duran nada. Por lo que el puntaje final de este Nivel es un 6/10 muy bueno si sabes que hacer pero si es tu primera vez te hará sufrir como el infierno y la música del nivel es exelente.

X4 was too easy and short and X5 felt uninspired to me in alot of ways. X6 is definitely not polished but I did enjoy alot of what it brought to the table, from the new parts and armors, down to the memorable ost and challenging stages. X7 and X8 are a tie for me on which are the worst.

Why do people call PS1 gameplays PSX when the PSX was a just a ps1 with some television features?

because a decade before the PSX (white ps2 with network and tv features) was even a thing. the Ps1 was called PSX. it was only when the slim version was released in the early 2000 that it started being called PS1.
